The Willamette University Foil Fencers (WUFF) was founded in 1986. I am proud to say that I am one of the founding members. WUFF normally meets weekly in the Sparks Center multi-purpose room. Send e-mail to Maestro James Ciaramitaro for more information. I sometimes fence here, as do some of my fencing students. Folks who live in the Salem area but who are not affiliated with the University are encouraged to fence at the Salem Family YMCA. The primary emphasis at WUFF is on foil, although you will find the occasional epée or sabre bout. WUFF does not generally use electrical equipment. WUFF focuses on recreational fencing.
