- Book Bin - Sells primarily used books, but some new
as well. A big downtown store that is friendly to browsers. They also have a store in
Corvallis.
- Jackson's Books - If you live in the Salem
area, please patronize Jackson's Books. They are locally owned and have a fantastic and
eclectic selection (40,000 volumes) of new books, as well as coffee and tea next to
reading tables. This is a Good Place (tm).
- Readers' Guide to Recycled Literature - a wonderful used bookstore in West Salem. Room
after tiny room of tall narrow aisles filled with used books, all linked by a veritable
warren of passages. Locally owned.
