This is a ferrotype of Companies B and C of the 116th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry in October of 2001 at Kearney Park in Fresno, California. 

The camera this was made with is original to the Civil War. It is possible that this camera saw Civil War battlefields. Note that the image is reversed, unlike modern photographic prints.
