This is a ferrotype of Kim and me in October of 2001 at Kearney Park in Fresno, California. The slightly crazed look in my eyes is due to the way the medium interprets blue, which is my eye color. Photographs of T.J. "Stonewall" Jackson have a similar appearance because of his blue eyes.

 The process of having this made was fun, as well as interesting. The camera this was made with is original to the Civil War. It is possible that this camera saw Civil War battlefields.
